Mr. Austin was always so nice to me. I would go visit him with my dad and he talked about gardening. He use to give me some of his tomato plants to grow in my garden and they would grow some mighty fine maters, better than the ones you purchase at the store. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. May God bless his family and give them comfort.

What good memories I have of Mr. Austin since moving to Ozark to be President of the Commercial Bank of Ozark. His Son Don and I were in the band together and Mr. & Mrs. Landers were very supportive of the Band Parents Association He was a devoted member of the Ozark Baptist Church over his years in Ozark but never forgot his Tallassee roots. May his soul rest in peace with our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ and each of his family members receive your comfort through your faith. We thank God for the life of Austin Landers.
