Mr. Lunnie English, age 66, of Ariton, died Thursday evening, May 17, 2007, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be graveside at 10:30 A. M. Saturday, May 19, 2007 in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Christine Gassett officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the family home in Ariton from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Friday evening. Mr. English was born January 20, 1941 in Dale County to the late Leola Sharah English and Wylie English. He worked with B. F. Williams Construction Company until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Janie English of Ariton, one daughter, Martha Coleson of Ariton, four sons, Lunnie Frank English of Ozark, Jessie James English of Ariton, Larry Lee English of Birmingham, and John Gary English of Ariton. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
