Love and Prayers
Marvin was one of the finest and most inspirational people I ever knew!
I have so many fond memories of the times Marvin, Peggy and the kids would come back to Ripley.

Dear Lisa and Mrs. Skeen and family,
What a sweet tribute to Mr. Skeen. You can tell how much he loved his family in all the pictures. What a treasure to have 67 years with your childhood sweetheart and wife. You can tell Mr. Skeen loved his country in his dedication to serve her for 20 years! I'm so thankful that God gave him 90 years and he created such and legacy. His was a life well lived and a life well loved. It's obvious he loved being Paw Paw! Thinking of all of you as you celebrate Mr. Skeen's life.

Hey Marvin and of course Ms Peg,
Thank you for being part of my life and allowing me to be part of your family. Marvin, love ya buddy and I will miss you and I know you are in a better place. You and my Pops find us a good calm fishing spot for when we all get together again.
When I would travel back from Eglin AFB or Hurlburt Field I would call and "yak" with Marvin and Ms Peg. I enjoyed those conversations, connecting on life topics like the simplicities and complexities of life, love, relationships and time.
Forever ingrained will be the trips to Panama City and shark fishing in the bay, while camping at St Andrews State Park. Trying to figure new and unique ways to keep raccoons out of the cooler, only to be foiled by the masked bandits, which would eventually feed into bedtime stories for my 3 little ducks (daughters) of the exploits of Ricky, Rocky and Robbie raccoons and their cooler adventures.
Thank you for providing memorable experiences I likely would not have had, from scalloping, watching you wander around with Clay on your shoulders, and Mike and Lisa bantering with each other in lightening speed, laughing, cutting up as we all did. Thank you for the UNO games and Ms Peg in the camper giving me the stink eye as I gave her a DRAW 4. I will never forget you holding the back of my pants while I was fighting a black tip shark on your boat, while a school of hundreds of sharks swam past and around the boat, and you saying, " I don't think you want to fall in right now..." Well buddy we fell into each others lives and could not be more grateful.
I think I struck a funny and memorable moment the first time I met you and Ms Peg, that day that I picked up the zipper pea dish and drank the juice...... for the family, Mike and Ms Peg will know what I am talking about on that topic. God Bless Jeff and Lisa, Clay, Mike and Joy ,Steve and Krista and Rick.... you got some good peeps for parents.
So many more and memorable stories will keep you alive, miss ya buddy, love ya. Thank you for forging such a strong and wonderful family, giving me such a great best friend and fishing buddy in Mike. If they need anything I will answer the call. Please walk with peace, kindness and love with Jesus, the same kind of peace, love and kindness you showed and taught me.
Sadly, selfishly and very sincerely,
Rich Losert
