To the family of Mrs Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with her as a beginning nurse in the late 80's at Oakview Manor where she help train me. Forever thankful!! Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Shirley was a great encourager to us and a blessing to all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and warm smile were always there to greet you. It was evident that she loved the Lord and all those to whom she ministered. What a reunion she and Royce must have had on those Golden Streets! We loved her and will miss those chance meetings, providing a few minutes to catch up. Bro. Greg & Diane Aman

What a great friend Shirley has been over the years. She was always welcoming and warm with her interactions about you and your family. She was one of God's Saints on his good earth. We will miss her but knowing she is reunited with all her family and friends that have preceded her to Heaven she and Royce will live on in our memories forever. We know all of her family will receive your comfort through your strong faith. We thank God for the life of Shirley Annette Peters Walker.

My sincere condolences to the family. Friendship is a connection that does not weaken in death., but instead grows stronger for those who remember. Mrs. Shirley helped shape me into the person I am today. I'm truly grateful for her being there for my girls and I.
