Obituary of Robert Kermit Jackson

Mr. Robert Kermit Jackson, 76, a resident of Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Center, died Monday, January 18, 2016, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Thursday, January 21, 2016, from Union Free Will Baptist Church in Henry County with Reverend Ray S. Reiley, Reverend Tanner Ethridge, Kathi Grantham, and Beth Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ozark with Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the church Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time.
Mr. Jackson was born September 3, 1939 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Robert Jackson and Myrtle Davis Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred Jackson, Grady Jackson, and Hillman Jackson; aunt and uncle, Joe H. and Lillie Mae Johns; and cousins, Billy J. Johns and Bobby L. Johns.
Survivors include Susie Grantham, Andy and Carol Johns, Joe and Kathi Grantham, Jerry and Becky Grantham, Freddy and Tara Jackson. Several cousins and special friends at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Free Will Baptist Church, C/O Carol Johns, 206 Briarhill Road, Abbeville, Alabama 36310.
