Obituary of William Edward Sauls

Mr. William Edward Sauls, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. He was 74 years old. A private memorial service for Mr. Sauls will be held at a later date. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Sauls was born May 7, 1949 in Ariton, Alabama to the late Arnice Sauls and Leona Whiddon Sauls. He served in the United States Army which included three tours in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked as a custom home builder until his retirement. Mr. Sauls loved being outside in his shop tinkering with things. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Sitz Sauls. Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Sauls; one son, Randy Hines; three grandchildren, Heaven Martin, Lacey Welch and Angelina Covington; and four great grandchildren all of Ozark.
