Jack was the definition of a "true servant." Having had the pleasure of knowing Jack Stokes for over forty years, I have been both fortunate and very blessed. We met on a baseball field during a youth baseball game. Our paths crossed numerous times through our careers in recreation. He was the best you could ask for as a District Director, Assistant State Director, and a National Board member for Dixie Boys Baseball. His lawn chair, baseball bucket and colorful personality were a fixture at Eagle Stadium. He will be remembered for the love of God, his supportive family, outstanding service to our country and being a dedicated leader for youth baseball.

I owe Mr Stokes a ton of thanks for taking a chance on me when I was young. I worked for him at the Rec Dept while I was in high school and in school at Troy. He always entrusted me to do jobs that most others wouldn't and I never wanted to let him down. He was always fair and handled himself with class even in difficult situations. RIP Mr. Jack you will be missed and thank you for everything you did for me.

What great memories I have of Jack over the years. He and Jean were great neighbors and helpers to Harold and Voncile Dick during her illness and Jack was so dedicated to the Ozark Recreation Board and services he preformed over the years. He took great pride in the ball fields making them look pristine. We know he is reunited with Jean and all that have gone before him and is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know each of his family will receive your comfort through your faith. We thank God for the life of Royce O'Neal "Jack" Stokes.

Mr. Jack always forever remembered for the love of your family and The hard work and dedication you have to Ozark Recreational Services for so many years Lots and Lots of wonderful memories to treasure by so many whom were fortunate enough to cross your path . Many many treasured memories with my children,Their father,my father,brothers whom were affiliated with you through many years at the ballfields. You are a blessed man with a very loving and supportive family. I am honored and blessed to have grown up knowing you and Mama Jean and y'all's precious family. Truly you are both missed I feel very humbled to have shared a little time with you and family especially in the last few weeks. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you today and for the days to come. Our Deepest Condolences to The Stokes Family Charlotte and Mike McDaniel
