Obituary of Boyd Douglas Phillips, Jr.

Mr. Boyd Douglas “Doug” Phillips, Jr., a resident of Ozark, died Monday, February 5, 2024. He was 47 years old. In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no public services planned for Mr. Phillips. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Phillips was born November 6, 1976 in Wiesbaden, Germany. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1996 and worked in the home building industry. Doug enjoyed basketball, baseball, football and music. He was an avid Alabama fan. He is survived by his mother, Sharlene Phillips of Newton; his father, Boyd Douglas Phillips Sr. of Hawaii; his grandmother, Geraldine Reed of Grove City, Ohio; one sister, Amanda Hawes of Niceville, Florida; and one nephew, Malik Hawes of Niceville, Florida.
