Obituary of Will Hampton Johnston
Mr. Will Hampton Johnston, a resident of Dothan and formerly of Ozark, died Friday morning, June 7, 2024. He was 49 years old.
A private family memorial service for Mr. Johnston will be held at a later date. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Will was born July 7, 1974 and graduated from Carroll High School in 1992. He attended Troy State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Will was currently working with Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center in Dothan. Will enjoyed fishing and watching his boys play ball.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Floyd Johnston; one niece, Emma Kathryn Jernigan; his grandparents, Tee Lisenby and Kathryn Byrd Lisenby Lee and Willie Clyde and Nadine Floyd Johnston.
Surviving relatives include his two beloved sons, Tanner Johnston and Trevor Johnston; his mother and step-father, Beverly Lisenby Folmar and Sam Folmar; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Eric Jernigan; the mother of his children, Celeste Reynolds Johnston; aunts and uncles, Cy and Gail Lisenby, Nadel and Howard Griffith and Marta St. John; cousins, Kenna and Bret Head, Kami and Evan Bolton, Grethyn and Jerry Judah, Ward Griffith, Chris St. John and Patrick St. John. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the First United Methodist Church of Ozark, 167 East Broad Street, Ozark, Alabama 36360; the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35213; or to the charity of your choice.
