Obituary of Daphne Vanessa McLaughlin

Mrs. Daphne Vanessa Suhler McLaughlin, a resident of Ozark, died Monday, June 17, 2024, in Flowers Hospital. She was 49 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. McLaughlin will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Chaplin Bob Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Mrs. McLaughlin was born January 3, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas to Elizabeth Ann Rogers Suhler and the late Leonard George Suhler. She attended high school in Fort Worth, Texas and obtained an Associate In Science Degree in Scottsdale, Arizona. Daphne moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where she worked in home screening. She later moved to Colorado Springs with her mother and worked as a rancher for eight years. Daphne was an animal lover who raised cats, racoons and Belgian horses. She loved to cook, bake, play scrabble and dominos. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard George Suhler; and her grandfathers, Charles R. Rogers and Rex Bryant. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Brian McLaughlin of Ozark; her mother, Elizabeth Ann Rogers Suhler; her mother-in-law, Alline McLaughlin; and two brothers, Chris Suhler of Tempe, Arizona and Damon Suhler of Peoria, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Attn; Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
