This last picture of Chris as a ring bearer has a funny story! A few years back I had taken my children to a doctor appt. and the clerk said that there was an issue with my insurance. So I had to go to a different desk where the clerk working there was the little blonde girl in the picture, Missy. Missy wanted to ask me if I was Nancy Woodham's daughter and she had a wooden framed picture of her and Chris behind her chair. She said that her mother had this particular picture hanging up in her living room for about 30yrs. and both of them did not know the name of the little boy. I told her I was Nancy's daughter and that the little ring bearer boy was my much loved Uncle Chris:)

I am not sure if I am able to convey how much I love my Uncle Chris and what a blessing he has been in my life. I had always hoped for more time with him. He is to date the funniest person I ever met. I believe he would say we were more like big brother and little sister. He would fly with me on his bicycle bars, and teach me about firecrackers, hot wheels, and fake vampire blood. As we grew older he traded time together watching COPS and drinking Kool-aid for free baby-sitting. I did not mind at all because it was one on one time with Chris. I appreciate the summer of 94' when we blew up banana trees with fireworks. I very much love my dad and his family. They are a true treasure. I have and will continue to pray for Chris. I pray that King Jesus loves him as much as we do. Thank you Chris for all the great memories, my children know them well. Fond memories of water parks and helping me repair my car. Crazy putt- putt games, sock wars with couches and nacho nights that went by too fast. How you would sneak in late at night and sing "Strangers of the night" and the "Waltons" theme songs. Watching the incredible Hulk too. I love you Chris and pray that we will see each other again.
I am truly sorry for your loss Rebecca, Jamie, Ashley, and Ann

I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, I have not seen Chris in many years. Before they moved from KY, I saw him often in the summertime as he and his Mom and Dad would hang out with us at Rough River. I have very fond memories of him and Homer making me laugh while Dottie worried about her hair getting wet, typical for the Thompson women. I am very sad to hear this and please know that many prayers of support are being said for all of you at this time!! Much love. Bridgett Powers Mattingly

I had not seen Chris for decades. When he moved from Vine Grove, KY, with his mom and dad (Aunt Dottie Lou and Uncle Homer) so many years ago, I missed his bright smile and laughter we shared.
Chris was Aunt Dottie Lou's "baby" and entertained Uncle Homer.
I know Dottie Lou and Homer are welcoming Chris today.
I am sending love and prayers to his family.
With love,
Cousin
Tracy Martin Hall
(Aunt Wanda and Uncle Hugh's daughter)

Growing up Uncle Chris was more like an older brother. We spent many summers together in Ozark during family vacations. Chris has a heart of gold. I am glad we were able to reconnect as adults over the last few years. I will miss you Chris. May you rest in peace.
Love you,
Richard Woodham and family
