I recently started attending First United Methodist Church. Kenneth sat in the pew behind me. He was so kind and welcoming. He shared that he knew my sister Charlotte and brother Ray. Made me feel, "Just right at home". I looked forward to hearing his beautiful voice always projecting from behind me and receiving his kind greetings as I sat down for Sunday service. So well thought of in the community. I am honored to have crossed paths with him in this life.

Mr. Kenneth was one of the most humble people I have ever met, his memory was 2nd to none, he knew more about our family than we did. There was such a strong under current in his demeanor that was the example of a man that you could & your children could look up to and be proud to call him a friend. I have no doubt where he is this very minute, our loss, heaven’s gain. He will definitely be missed. With Love Charlie and Jeanelle Strickland

Kenneth and Wilton, Ozark Peanut, supported the South Alabama Pro Rodeo until they chose to retire. I always enjoyed visiting with them when it came time to sell the ads. I will miss Kenneth. Great memories.

Great memories will I keep of Kenneth from over our years doing business at Thompson's and all the conversations about our community. Kenneth will always live in our hearts and minds. We know he is resting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with his loved ones that have preceded him. Martha Dan, Lee, Ken, Danna and all the grandchildren he loved so dearly receive your comfort through your faith. We thank God for the life of Kenneth Thompson.
