Obituary of Angelia Joan Pendleton

Angelia "Anji" Joan Pendleton went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2017. FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME NORTH, 1000 Hwy 29S, Cantonment, Florida is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Friday, July 21, 2017 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Fr. Tom Koyickal will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery. Anji was born on July 28, 1966, in Opelika, AL. Right from the start she was a fighter. Anji was very sick as a baby but it was obvious God had a wonderful plan for her life. As a young girl, Anji excelled in all aspects of her life. She was an amazing softball player, cheerleader, songwriter, lover of God, and an intercessor. Anji married Tommy Pendleton the love of her life, her true sweetheart, soul mate. Anji had five wonderful, talented children and four amazing grandchildren. Anji would have never met a stranger; if she met you she would have loved you even if it was for a moment. She would have given anything to anyone. At the end, she was a true hero, not just in words - in action. She gave her life to save her grandsons Nikolas and Jacob without any hesitation. She would have given it for any of us... Angelia Joan Pendleton was Love. She is preceded in death by her son, T.J. Pendleton (1991) and her father, Jerry Kendrick (2014). She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Tommy Pendleton, children, Tabitha Young (Patrick McGowan), Mathew Edwards, Christopher Edwards (Hallie McIntyre) and Zack Pendleton; grandchildren, Nikolas Young, Jacob Young, Gracie Prosser and Madison McGowan; mom, Joan (Norm) Wallace; siblings, Vicki (James) Gaddy, Debra (Tom) Martin, James (Rebecca) Wallace, Erika (Donnie) Stuckey and Jonathan Wallace and her dear sweet puppies, Wednesday and Gomez.
