Ben, just wanted you to know how sorry I am about your loss. You and your family have been in my prayers and will continue so, that God holds you close and gives you the comfort and peace needed during these next few months of not having you daddy. You have such good memories to hold dear and cherish. Again I am sorry and will continue to keep you in my prayers.

We are so sorry for your loss. Your father and I were friends when I lived in Enterprise in the late 60's before I moved away. My wife and I saw him a couple times when we came back to Enterprise to visit and even went to visit him in Rockmart, Georgia when he went home to see his family. We also talked to him by phone many times over the years. Three weeks ago I was talking to Dale Cunningham and he told me that Jerry was not feeling well. I called him to see how he was doing and he was still the same old Jerry upbeat and making jokes although he was not well. I will really miss his laugh and sense of humor. May God bless you and be with you in this time of your great loss.

My condolences on your loss. Jerry was a good and honorable man and I enjoyed all the many visits I had with him at his house before I moved from Ozark which made it harder for me to see him as frequently as I would have liked. He was sharp as a tack and I enjoyed working for him in Stingray Flight. I remember when I hired on and I was brought to the Director of Primary and he asked me which flight I would like to go to; as a few Flight Commanders wanted me. I told him I wanted to go to Stingray Flight as Jerry was the best Flight Commander and he ran a tight ship. The Director looked at me and said; "You two will get along just fine; your both nit-pickers". (He meant that in a good way). The World is a little more hollow with his passing.

Ben & Christine,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Jerry always made me laugh with his witty humor. I will miss him coming into the office or calling me on the phone "encouraging" me to give Ben heck on FB.. He truly loved Christine and told me numerous times how she is an angel and really was the best thing that happened to Ben. I know you all will miss him and you are in my thoughts in my prayers!

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. Comfort and a sure hope can be found in God's Word, the Bible --2 Corinthians 1:3, 4. Jesus promises that one day he is going to bring back to life all those who have died --John 5:28, 29. Death is not only an "enemy" to those of us who have lost dear loved one in death, but also an enemy to God--1 Corinthians 15:26. The Bible tells us that one day God is going to remove forever all pain, suffering, and death that mankind has experienced for thousands of years --Revelation 21:3-5. Then you may be able to rejoice with your loved one again forever, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ " -John 17:3
