Mr. Paul Lavern Evans, 84, of Ozark, died Tuesday morning, June 14, 2016, in Oakview Manor Health Care Facility in Ozark. Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Evans was born August 23, 1931, in Oelwein, Iowa to the late Floyd Evans and Pauline Packwood Evans. He worked for many years until his retirement with Panama Canal Company as a Customs Inspector until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nyra Riley and Judy Evans; and one brother, Floyd Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Vilma Cecilia Lopez Evans of Ozark; two daughters, Alynn Polega of Chipley, Florida and Daphne Lux of Pasadena, Texas; one son, Paul G. Evans of Greenville, South Carolina; one grandson, Joshua and Jessica Lux; three great-grandchildren, Damien Lux, Ethan Lux, and Macy Lux.
