Mr. Carroll was a native of the Post Oak Community of Ozark, and a Veteran of World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a member of its association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the First United Methodist Church, and the John Wesley Sunday School Class. Mr. Carroll retired from M. O. Carroll Grocery Company in Ozark after 32 years in 1985.
