Obituary of Dewerl M. Harding

Mr. Dewerl Math (D.M.) Harding, 95, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be graveside at 10:00 A. M. Thursday, December 24, 2015 in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mr. Harding was born May 13, 1920 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Ellie Mae Day Harding and Jessie Harding. He served in the United States Army during World War II receiving the rank of Master Sergeant. He received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with Two Bronze Stars and numerous other medals. Mr. Harding worked at Fort Rucker as a lead aircraft mechanic until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Faulk Harding; one son, Kenneth W. Harding; one brother, Earnest Harding; and one sister, Gertrude Walker.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Kitty Ann Harding; three daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and William Adkins, Carol and Leroy McCarter, Debra and Henry Glen Perrigin all of Ozark. Ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive.
