Mr. John Carl Robson, age 70, of Ozark, died Sunday afternoon, November 7, 2010, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, November 11, 2010, in the chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Jason Whitmire officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory with full Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday. Mr. Robson was born June 19, 1940 in McDonald, Pennsylvania to the late. He served in the United States Army for 24 1/2 years with two tours in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal-One Oak Leaf Cluster, and various other awards. He retired as a Master Sergeant. Mr. Robson was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and was a great husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy McCoy, and his brother, George Robson. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jean Mills Robson of Ozark; one daughter, Tammy Robson of Ozark; one step-daughter, Maxine Pate of Manchester, Tennessee; one son, John C. Robson, Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Florida; two sisters, Sue and Gladys; two grandchildren, Thomas McCoy, Jr. and Gabrielle McCoy. Service Information
