Mrs. Evelyn Lavada Tyler Daugherty, age 80, of Enterprise, died Friday, October 23, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be graveside at 1:00 P. M. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mrs. Daugherty was born September 13, 1935 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Green Alvia Tyler and Myrtle Lozell Smith Tyler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Daugherty, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lavada and Mike Doyle of Panama City, Florida; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bill Daugherty of Enterprise, Ronald T. and Amy Daugherty of Ashville, North Carolina. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to S.O.S. Animal Shelter, 25944 Alabama Hwy 134, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.
