Obituary of Donna Chancey Richard

Mrs. Donna Jeanelle Chancey Richard, 77, of Ozark, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, June 26, 2015, from Ewell Bible Baptist Church with Reverend David Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 12:30 P. M. until service time. Mrs. Richard was born April 8, 1938 in Dale County, Alabama. She worked as a Manager with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for twenty-five years. She was a member of Ewell Bible Baptist Church and a passionate volunteer for Sav-A-Life. Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Jean Howell; and her father, A. G. Chancey. Survivors include her husband Thomas E. Richard of Ozark; two daughters, Ashley Rajkowski of Waco, Texas and Teresa Richard of Carbondale, Illinois; three sons, David Howell (Beverly) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Charles Howell of Odessa, Texas, and Thomas Bradley Richard of Kingsland, Texas; her Mother, Donna Louise Willis Chancey of Ozark; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Billy Miller of Ozark, Shannon and Mike Gill of Ozark; one brother, A. J. “Buddy” Chancey of Ozark. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save-A-Life of Dale County, P. O.
