Mrs. Juanita Ryder of Ozark died Monday morning, March 15, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, March 19, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with her son-in-law, Reverend Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Ryder was born April 14, 1930 in Midland City to the late Ovie Ingram Wilson and Mary Lena Trammell Wilson. She worked as a hostess at the Ozark Restaurant and the Highway Host Restaurant in Ozark, and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Ryder; one grandson, Michael Devin Morgan; one great grandson, Michael David Peters; five sisters and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Reverend Harold Peters of Ozark; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray and Amy Morgan of Griffin, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jessie Peters and wife Pace, Matt Peters and wife Sabrina, Ben Morgan and wife Kery, Chris Morgan and wife Sarah; granddaughter-in-law, Sonja Peters; great grandchildren, Jessie, Jessica, and Jacob Peters, Ben, Josh, Ashley, Allison, and Megan Morgan; dear friends, Marsha Boutwell and Sarah Peters; two step great-grandchildren Victoria and Kendal Reynolds. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Gideons Memorial Bible Chairman, P. O. Box 291, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
