Mrs. Clewis was born August 3, 1936 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, graduated from Arkadelphia high School, and from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia with a degree in business. She moved to Dallas and worked for the Bank of America in the Accounting Department, retiring after 40 years. She and her husband never had children but she always had a cat. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, John F. and Imogene Oliver of Ozark; two step-sons and their wives, Robert Clewis and Joe Clewis of Dallas; three step-grandchildren; two nephews, Mike Oliver and wife Shana of Houston, John F. Oliver III and wife Malinda of Indianapolis, Indiana; one niece, Jacki Oliver Outlaw and husband Jeff of Ozark, two great nephews, Tyler Outlaw of Ozark, Stephen Oliver of Houston; three great nieces, Katie Oliver of Houston, Sarah Outlaw and Olivia Outlaw of Ozark. The family would like to express a very special thanks to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center for their tender, loving care of Rose; especially to Lorrie and Pam as they were with her at the end.
