Obituary of Charlotte Skipper Ross

Ms. Charlotte Skipper Ross, age 66, of Ozark, died early Sunday morning, April 27, 2014, in Flowers Hospital following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
A memorial service for Ms. Ross will be held at 8:00 P. M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Grace Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Crosby officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
Ms. Ross was born December 20, 1947 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Gordon Barney Skipper and Lonie Louise Griggs Skipper. She had lived in St. Louis, Missouri until moving back to Ozark eleven years ago. She worked with Walgreens for over thirty-one years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandi Louise Ross (Don) of St. Louis, MO;
grandchildren, Krystal, Scott, and Jamie;
great grandson, Trevor;
one sister, Audrey Wolff of Ozark;
two brothers and sisters-in-law, Reverend Larry and Jean Skipper of Ozark, Charles and Mary Skipper of Midland City;
and a special friend, Bertie Boyer.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36111.
