Our family was so blessed to have been touched by your family. Howard was such an important part of our son Cary's life and gave some much of himself teaching him about electronics and life. We will never forget the Elba flood, and our concern for our child working during this difficult time, but the pride and comfort we experienced knowing that he was with Howard at WOZK and providing such a vital service to our community. Our deepest sympathy is extended to you during this difficult time.

His passing leaves an emptyness in our hearts replaced only by the loving memories of an intelligent, caring man. The knowledge and experience I gained from Howard could never be measured. Sherry and I enjoyed his wit and friendship. We will fondly remember the echo of "Goodnight All". We will miss you.

Jane, Penny and Family, There has been one man that I can truly say was a professional mentor in my life. Howard gave me a world of priceless opportunities. I will miss him. Though we have seen each other only occasionally in past years, he has and will be with me constantly in my life and career. Not a day goes by but that I am faced with a situation and think, "How would Howard handle that?" When once I complained at making $1.60/hour, Howard said, "You should actually be paying me for the experience." How right he was! He trusted me and gave me great opportunities. Some debts can never be re-paid. He is part of me now and will be with me always. On behalf of Christine, Stephanie, and Hillary, our thought and prayers are with you all. Tom Kingsley
