Audrey W. Riley, 90, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. (CST), Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Old Center United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Harry Circle officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Monday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home in Macon, Georgia. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
Mrs. Riley, wife of the late Veston Riley, was born in Thomaston, GA the daughter of the late Thomas and Oma Smith Willis. She was the sister of the late Thomas Willis. Mrs. Riley retired in 1986 from Wachovia Bank and was a member of Smith's Station Baptist Church in Smith's Station, AL.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (Agnes) Riley of Macon; her daughter, Bobbie Sue (Jerry) Taylor of Casselberry, FL; three grandchildren, Dianne (Danny) Spires of Macon and Mona (Mark) Brevard and J. W. Taylor of Casselberry, FL; four great grandchildren, Emily and Danny Spires and Julie and James Brevard; her sister, Anna Childree of San Leandro, CA.
The family wants to express their deepest appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia for their gentle and compassionate care of Mrs. Riley.
