Obituary of James Edward Hall

Mr. James Edward Hall, of Cocoa, Florida, died Monday morning, October 13, 2008, at the home of his sister in Newton, Alabama following an extended illness. He was 65 years old. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Elder Dennis Holt officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 P. M. Wednesday in Red Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Esto, Florida, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday evening. Mr. Hall was born in Chipley, Florida in 1943 to Crockett C. Hall and Vonnie Johnson Hall. He spent his early childhood in Northwest Florida, graduating from Graceville High School in 1962. He served in the United States Army from January 26, 1966 until January 25, 1968. He was employed by Northrop-Grumman Integrated Technologies as lead technician, facilities maintenance, in Melbourne, Florida. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Crockett C. Hall and Vonnie Johnson Hall, and his son, James Crockett Hall. He is survived by his son, Charley Jason Hall, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, his daughter, Melissia Renee Havron, Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, his daughter-in-law, Susi Stiller Hall, Chattanooga, Tennessee, one brother, William E. Hall and his wife, Clara, Albany, Georgia, two sisters, Betty Deloney and her husband, Glen, Newton, Jo Ann Cole and her husband, Douglas, Dothan, one grandson, Cy Murphy Havron (Cam), Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, one granddaughter, Anna Renee Hall, Chattanooga, Tennessee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Stephen Chastain, Mid-South Home Health, and Wiregrass Hospice for the kindness and loving care given to Mr. Hall during his illness. Serving as active pallbearers will be nephews, Jeffrey Hall, Christopher Hall, Marley Deloney, Andy Deloney, Randy Deloney, and Johnathon Cole. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302.
