Obituary of Shirley Sanders Gallaspie

Mrs. Shirley Catherine Gallaspie, age 58, of Ozark, went to be with her Saviour Tuesday morning, December 16, 2008, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, December 19, 2008, from Rocky Head Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Charles Gann officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Mrs. Gallaspie was born November 22, 1950 in Ozark to the late Ray Raymond Sanders and Bessie Catherine Garner Sanders. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Thomas E. "Tom" Gallaspie of Ozark; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Richard Henry of Calera, Alabama, Kathy and Rockie Widner of Birmingham; two sons, Thomas Gallaspie and Micheal Gallaspie both of Ozark; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Floyd Madrid of Germany, Patricia and Dr. Harry Robinson of Medina, Minnesota, Millie Sue Drum of Eue Claire, Wisconsin, Debbie Sanders of Ozark, Omega Sanders of Smyrna, Georgia, Clarissa and Tony Lamar of Eue Claire, Wisconsin; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Doris Sanders of Churchville, Maryland, Bobby and Sherry Sanders of Blountstown, Florida, Jeffrey Sanders of Ozark, and John Sanders of Las Vegas, Nevada. Seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
