Obituary of Joseph Wayne Bowman

Mr. Joseph Wayne Bowman of Valparaiso, Florida, formerly of Ozark, died Thursday, January 23, 2014, in Gainesville, Florida. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, January 28, 2014, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Universalist Cemetery in Ariton, Alabama, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mr. Bowman was born November 4, 1942, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Syntha Hubert Bowman and Ruth Margaret Maund Bowman. He graduated from Carroll High School in Ozark in 1961 and attended Auburn University. He retired as Maintenance Supervisor with the Burger King Corp. of South Alabama and Northwest Florida. Survivors include his wife, Judith Foreman Bowman of Valparaiso, FL; two special aunts, Louise Hughes and Jeanette Coaker of Ozark, AL; one brother-in-law, James W. Foreman of Huntsville, AL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his memory to your favorite charity. Service Information
