OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK Ariton, Alabama 334?774?5348 Mrs. Brunise Blondell Woodard, age 87, of Ariton, died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, July 7, 2010, from Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Crosby and David Edhgard officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Woodard was born January 14, 1923 in Dale County to the late Charlie Franklin Woodard and Evie Beatrice Hall Woodard. She was a livelong resident of Ariton, a homemaker, and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Homer Oscar Woodard; and her son, James Homer Woodard. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Woodard Harris and Charlene Woodard Vance of Ariton; eight grandchildren, Danielle and Ruben Hernandez of Ariton, William Homeriah Harris and Lesley Lebouef of Ariton, Denice Rigney of Lafayette, Louisiana, Michael and Kay Woodard of Hartford, Lahoma and Ashley Register of Troy, Robert Joey Johnson of Ariton, Indea Vance Barr and Eddie Gene Pugh, Jr. of Ariton; seventeen great grandchildren, Nisey Hernandez of Ariton, Abigail Harris of Ariton, Andrew LeBouef of Alford, Florida, Layla Jones of Ariton, Peyton Rigney of Lafayette, Louisiana, Roger and Ashley Parker, Zachary Woodard, and Alexander Woodard of Hartford, Jameson and Donnita English of Hayneville, Tiffany and Richard Parks of Kinsey, Cheyenne Johnson of Jack, Jody Johnson of Troy, Victoria Register of Goshen, Robbie Jo Johnson of London, Ohio, Michael Hawk Thrasher of Ariton, Travis and Joseph Hobbs of Taylor, and David Barr of Ariton; eight great-great grandchildren, Harmony and Melody Parker of Hartford, Michael Rainey, Isabelle Rainey, Jacob Rainey, Destiny Rainey, Haley English all of Hayneville, and Ashton Parks of Kinsey; one son-in-law, William Harris of Newton; two daughters-in-law, Judy Davis of Port St. Joe, Florida, and Jane Woodard Dodson of Ozark; several nieces and nephews; very special friends, Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell, Robert Thomas, Tommy Rhett all of Ariton, and Larry English of Echo; and a very special Church family, Grace Baptist Church of Ozark.
