Obituary of Clyde Wilson Beasley

Mr. Clyde Wilson Beasley, age 82, of Ozark, died Tuesday morning, April 12, 2011, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, April 14, 2011, from Camp Ground Baptist Church with Reverend Al Sonanstine officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Thursday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening.
Mr. Beasley was born August 3, 1928 in Dale County to the late Ira Virgil Beasley and Wilma Maggie Bryan Beasley. He served in the United States Navy for three years; during this time he was stationed in Alaska and Japan. Mr. Beasley retired from DynCorp at Fort Rucker following forty years of service. He was a member of Camp Ground Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Morton Beasley; and two daughters, Diane Beasley Jordan and Linda Beasley Dixon.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David R. and Judy E. Beasley of Atlanta;
and three brothers, Leon Beasley and Royce Beasley of Ozark; Robert Beasley of Prattville; two grandchildren, Jenny Fuimefreddo and John Harold Johns;.
and several nieces and nephews.
