Obituary of Danny Andrews Woodham

Mr. Danny Andrews Woodham, age 65, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, February 9, 2012, in Dale Medical Center.
A memorial service for Mr. Woodham will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, February 12, 2012, from Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Brenda Stutz and Reverend Neal Brown officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday in the church fellowship hall from 2:00 P. M. until service time.
Mr. Woodham was born March 26, 1946, in Houston County, and had lived in Ozark for the past forty-five years. He owned and operated East Gate Manufacturing, and then he and his wife operated D&S Land Clearing until he became disabled. He was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Woodham was a man who loved drag racing and operating his heavy equipment for which he was a master. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah Inez Andrews Woodham; and one brother, James Erwin Woodham.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Sullivant Woodham of Ozark; one son Michael Woodham of Clearville, PA; one grandson, Kyle Woodham of Clearville, PA;one aunt, Mrs. Mary E. Lewis of Beverly Hills, CA; one brother-in-law, Quincey Sullivant of Ozark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Building Fund, C/O Miss Shirley Chancey, 4399 East Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
