Mrs. Bonnie Jean Weir Alldredge passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013, while at home after spending 89 years on this earth. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P. M. Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland, Texas. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland, Texas, Monday, October 21, 2013, from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. Alldredge was born January 28, 1924 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma to the late Aubrey Leon Weir and Anna Opaline Harris Weir. She was a graduate of Tonkawa High School. She lived in various places around the world including Saudi Arabia and Japan as a military wife while her late husband served for 30 years in the U.S. Army. Mrs. Alldredge was a multitalented lady that loved animals, especially her horses, dogs, and her donkey “Mr. Finley”. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Bishop Floyd Arthur Alldredge in 2007; two sons, Douglas A. Alldredge and Danny D. Alldredge; one sister, Pattie Sue Bussey; and one brother, Dwight Weir. She is survived by her son , LTC (R) Dale T. Alldredge and wife Judy of Ozark, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law, Carole Alldredge of Abilene, Texas. Through her three sons, she was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mrs. Alldredge is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dottie Ann and Jake Reikenberg and Sammy Lou and Walter Johnson. Service Information
