Obituary of John David Young

Mr. John David Young, age 52, of Ozark, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at his home. A memorial service for Mr. Young will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 30, 2013, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Pastor Gary Fleming and Reverend Dr. Steve King officiating. Interment will be in Ozark City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.
Mr. Young was born May 17, 1961 in Ozark, Alabama where he attended Carroll High School. He worked as a long haul truck driver and was a painter in the Ozark area. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Mary Dillard and his paternal grandparents, Glenn and Anne Young.
Survivors include his parents, John and Sandra Dillard Young of Ozark;
two sisters, Marianne Young and Susan Young of Ozark;
one brother, Christopher Paul Young of Ozark;
uncles and aunts, Billy and Janice Dillard, Jim Young, Tommy and Brenda Young.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Janet Brooks, 7300 East County Road 36, Ozark, AL 36360.
