Obituary of Terry Smith

Mr. Terry Smith, age 60, of Ozark, died Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2008, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, November 12, 2008, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the church following the services. Mr. Smith was born October 30, 1948 in Ozark, one of the first set of triplets to be born in Dale County, to the late Ewell J. and Ruby Pearline Paramore Smith. He was a graduate of Troy University and worked with Daniel Construction Company building Farley Nuclear Plant. He then worked with Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant in Topeka, Kansas, and to a North Carolina Plant. He has made his home in Ozark the past twelve years and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Johnson and Gloria Jean Brown, and two brothers, Carlton Smith and Larry Smith. Survivors include four sisters, Alice Houston of Ozark, Linda Whitaker of Colquitt, Georgia, Pauline Huggins of Albany, Georgia, Christine Wenk of Ozark; two brothers, Jerry Smith of Ozark and Robert Smith of Troy.
