Obituary of John David Andrews

Mr. John David Andrews, 69, of Ozark, died Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Flowers Hospital surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Saturday, May 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home in Ozark from 12:30 P. M. until service time. Mr. Andrews was born April 17, 1946 in Ozark, Alabama to the late John Moses “Jim” Andrews and Juanita Walker Andrews. He was employed by Page Aircraft, Mikie Walding Construction Company, and J & J Expandable Enterprises. Survivors include his wife, Helen Taylor Andrews; his son, Rex Andrews and wife, Rhonda, their children, Meg, Rex Allen, II, and Avery; two sisters, Judie Andrews Holloway (Don), their children, Paul Holloway and Chris Holloway, Deborah Andrews Bush (Wayne), their child, Jeff Bush; and several great nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation, P. O. Box 12505, Birmingham, Alabama 35202. Service Information
