Mrs. Carolyn Blackmon Cintron, age 70, of Ozark, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, November 20, 2009, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Elder Tim Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in Morningview Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Mrs. Cintron was born July 30, 1939 in Ozark to the late Carrie Elizabeth Miller Blackmon and Edward Ougustus Blackmon. She worked with Judy Bond Manufacturing Company in Ozark for ten years, and then as a Convenience Store Manager with Jr. Food Stores in Cottonwood for over ten years, retiring in 1989. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Blackmon, Curtis Blackmon, and Arthur Blackmon. Survivors include her husband, Ismael Santiago Cintron of Ozark, four daughters, Vicky Phillips and Debra Stacey of Ozark, Lizabeth Abrams of Dothan, Kimberly Taylor of Webb; two sons, Paul Cintron of Ozark and Christopher Cintron, Sr. of Ashford. Eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. Service Information
