Mary Elizabeth Richardson, 94, of Tryon, NC, formerly of Ariton, died Friday, May 23, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital, Columbus, NC. Funeral services will be graveside at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 26, 2008, from Ariton Cemetery with Reverend Bernard Jones officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Sunday. Born in Dale County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Vera Tillman Paulk. She came to live with her son in Tryon, NC in 2004 from her home in Ariton. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Ariton Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Charles M. McKeller and wife, Lib of Tryon, NC. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Charles W. "Mack" McKeller and wife Paula of Brevard, NC and David McKeller and wife Charlotte of Durham, NC, four great grandchildren, Madeline, Avery, Mary Campbell, and Claire McKeller.
