Mrs. Levice Powell Cobb, 91, of Ozark, died Sunday morning, May 16, 2010, in Dale Medical Center, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Matthew Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday. Mrs. Cobb was born November 20, 1918 in Dale County to the late John C. and Dazzie Woodard Powell. She worked with Cowikee and Avondale Mills in Ozark until her retirement. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, George Harvey Cobb; two sisters, Janice West and Agnes Teal; three brothers, Lanti Bob Powell, Bernice Powell, and Argus Powell. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Terry Tomlin of Ozark; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Dianne Cobb of Ozark; one brother, Mancil Powell of Ozark; five grandchildren, Michelle and Rob Glaze, Gregory and Pam Cobb, Nikki and Ed Garza, Dawn McCauley, Scott and Valerie Tomlin; ten great grandchildren, Nathan Glaze, Morgan Glaze, Ty Cobb, Hope Cobb, Taylor Garza, Lillian Garza, Marley McCauley, Ryan Tomlin, Robin Tomlin, Reagan Tomlin. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Service Information
