Mr. David Keith McLaughlin, age 51, of Guntersville, formerly of Ozark, died Sunday evening, June 8, 2008, in Marshall Medical Center north of Guntersville, Alabama following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:30 P. M. until service time. Mr. McLaughlin was born October 20, 1956 at Fort Rucker, the son of Rex D. and Alline Johnson McLaughlin of Ozark. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1975 and attended Auburn University. He worked with Michelin for ten years, Tri Glass Industries, and for the past ten years with Teledyne in Grant, Alabama. Mr. McLaughlin enjoyed Alabama Football and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Sherri Lynn Exum McLaughlin of Guntersville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Josh Smith of Montgomery, Amy and Brad Helton of Guntersville; one grandson, Cooper Smith of Montgomery; one brother, Brian McLaughlin of Ozark; one nephew, Clint McLaughlin of Ozark.
