Obituary of Janice Nelms Woodham

Mrs. Janice Nelms Woodham, 68, of Ozark, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, in Noland Hospital in Dothan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, February 3, 2013, from Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.
Mrs. Woodham was born January 6, 1945 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late James Kelso Nelms and Alma Sowell Nelms. She was a homemaker and an active member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loonie Edwin "Ed" Woodham; one son, Larry Edwin Woodham; and one sister, Mary Lou Naramore.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and James Palmer of Ozark;
one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Deanna Woodham of Ozark;
four grandchildren, Bryce Woodham, Wes Turner, Kelsie Woodham, and Jordan (Schon) Sweeney;
one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Diane Nelms of Pinckard.
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Building Fund, C/O Denise Willis, 7278 South County Road 59, Midland City, Alabama 36350.
