Mr. Thomas Elbert Culpepper, age 74, of Ozark, died early Saturday morning, January 18, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be graveside at 11:00 A. M. Monday, January 20, 2014, in Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Culpepper was born October 25, 1939 in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Robert Elijah Culpepper and Mary Evelyn Doswell Culpepper. He had a great entrepreneur spirit and was involved in many different businesses throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Bruce Culpepper. Survivors include one daughter, Amy Culpepper Elliot of McCalla, AL; two sons, Thomas E. (Beau) Culpepper, Jr. of Milledgeville, GA, Craig Steven Culpepper of Jacksonville, NC; two sisters, Julia C. Gay of Cordele, GA, Libby C. Williams of Abbeville, AL; and a special friend, Betty Beasley of Newton. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
