Mrs. Phyllis Rosetta Ridenour Spade, age 75, of Ozark, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, November 25, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Danny Bynum officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Spade was born June 16, 1937 in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Benjamin and Edith Idessa Davis Ridenour. She and her husband had lived in various locations while he served in the United States Army, and had made their home in Ozark since 1973. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Ozark. Mrs. Spade loved her rose garden and other flowers.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Spade of Ozark; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Wayne McLeod of Dothan; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Brenda Spade of Dothan; grandchildren, Brandy and Jeff Hardy, Heather and Kirby Brown, Tara Long, and John McLeod;
one sister, Fern Rohrer of Boonsboro, Maryland;
and one brother, Marvin K. Ridenour of Hagerstown, Maryland.
