Obituary of Forrest E. Williams

Mr. Forrest Edward Williams, age 88, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, December 22, 2011, in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services were held 6:00 P. M. Monday, December 26, 2011, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart officiating. The family received friends at the church from 4:00 P. M. until service time. Services in Florida for Mr. Williams will be 2:00 P. M. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at National Burial and Cremation Society 1200 South U.S. 1, Rockledge, Florida, with Reverend Bob Rowell officiating. Interment will follow in Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge. Mr. Williams was born January 25, 1923 in St. George, West Virginia to the late Howard Ray Williams and Nora Janetta Pitzer Williams. He served in the United States Army during World War II and lived in Merritt Island, Florida. He retired from Bob Ennis Oldsmobile and Cadillac following twenty-seven years of service. He has made his home with his son and daughter-in-law in Ozark for the past four years. Mr. Williams was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ozark. He had been very active in the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island prior to moving to Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Mary Jane Williams, two sisters, two brothers, and one granddaughter, Nicole Webb Pierson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Clyde Webb of Crossville, Tennessee; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Marsha Williams of Ozark; grandchildren, Timothy and Tabitha Webb, Josuah Pierson, Brent and Dawn Williams, Kenneth and Amanda Williams, Stephanie and Christian Carroll; three sisters, Sylvia Able of Fairmont, West Virginia, Jean Lambert of Suitland, Maryland, Alice Lucas of Grafton, West Virginia; one brother, Dorsey Williams of Grafton, West Virginia.
