Mr. Michael John Campbell, age 52, of Heflin, died Saturday, September 13, 2008, in Midland City, Alabama at the home of his sister, Barbara Planck. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, September 17, 2008, from Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Rob Turley officiating. Interment will follow in the Black Family Cemetery, Dryden Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Dryden Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. Monday evening and Tuesday evening. Mr. Campbell was a native of Warren, Michigan having lived and worked in Mount Clemens, Michigan at PBM Industries for 24 years. He moved to Heflin to assist his Mother Mary Helen Dodson Campbell who pre-deceased him in October 2007. He was affiliated with the Light House Baptist Church in Heflin. Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Planck and Deborah Trepton; two brothers, John E. Campbell and Jim F. Campbell. Nieces and nephews include Courtney Bain, Thomas Bain, Brian Campbell, Melaine Campbell, John Campbell, and Jessica Trepton.
