Obituary of Alfred O. Bush

Mr. Alfred O. Bush, age 88, of Ozark, died Saturday evening, November 6, at his home following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Pitts and Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 P. M. Tuesday until service time.
Mr. Bush was born November 25, 1921 in Overton, Alabama to the late Henry Manon Bush and Otis Fleming Bush. He was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. Mr. Bush worked as a General Electrical Foreman with Farley Nuclear Plant until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved the forest and wild life of south Alabama. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Syble Jackson Bush of Ozark;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Marilyn Bush of Berkshire, New York, and Tim and Karan Bush of Birmingham;
five grandchildren, Jennifer Bush Pearson, Jesse Bush, Christopher Bush, Benjamin Bush, and Allen Bush;
three great grandchildren; Gillian Watson, Henry Pearson, and Harper Bush.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ozark Baptist Church, 282 South Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
