Obituary of Harvey Lee Lavender

Mr. Harvey Lee Lavender, age 60, of Ariton, died early Wednesday morning, August 11, 2010, in Dale Medical Center.
A memorial service for Mr. Lavender will be held at 3:00 P. M. Monday, August 16, 2010, at Rocky Head Baptist Church with Reverend Joe Underwood, Reverend Dave Walsh, and Reverend Bill Weed officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mr. Lavender was born January 23, 1950 in Enterprise. He worked with Alabama Power Company for thirty-two years until his retirement, and later with his son, Rusty, at Decks Unlimited. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Franklin Lavender, Sr. Mr. Lavender was a member of Rocky Head Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and his tractor, Clarice, and adored his grandchildren.
Survivors include his fiance, Lynda Holloway of Ariton;
his Mother, Jane Marshall Lavender of Ariton;
one daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Erin and Billy Sprouse of Ozark;
one son and daughter-in-law, Rusty Lee and Michelle Lavender of Ozark;
one sister, Sharon Lavender of Loxley, Alabama;
one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Franklin, Jr. and Susan McDonald Lavender of Ariton;
three grandchildren, Tyler Lavender, Kylie Shay Lavender, and Kelsey Skye Lavender.
