Obituary of Bobby Lavon Casey

Mr. Bobby Lavon Casey, age 74, of Ozark, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, June 2, 2014, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Floyd Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M. Mr. Casey was born February 24, 1940 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Cecil Floyd Casey and Naomi Ruth Dansby Casey. He had worked as a printer with Civil Service until his retirement. Following his retirement, Mr. Casey drove a school bus for 20 years. He truly enjoyed the special needs children that brightened his day. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Casey; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol Casey Willis and Billy Joe Willis; two brothers, Benny Floyd Casey and Billy LaDon Casey. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Allen Peacock of Jasper, AL, and Kellie and Jake Casey of Chipley, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Anthony and Julia Casey of Ozark; a very special caregiver, Pat Pearson; a special friend, Doris Pylant; daughter-in-law, Debbie Casey, wife of the late Michael Casey; two sisters-in-law, Mavis Casey of Enterprise and Omega Casey of Ozark; six grandchildren, Justin Casey (Jennifer), Luke Peacock, Jake Casey, Josh Casey, Mike Casey, and Seth Casey; and one great grandchild, Emersyn Casey.
