Obituary of Fredrick Barry Littlefield

Mr. Fredrick Barry Littlefield, Sr., age 56, of Dothan, fought a good fight and he finished his course on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene, Texas, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, July 20, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Joe Patterson, and Mr. Forest Bain, his brother-in-law, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Clio, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 9:00 A. M. until service time.
Mr. Littlefield was born June 30, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia and lived most of his life in the Dothan area. He attended Dale County High School and Wallace College. Mr. Littlefield was a soldier in the United States Army where he served time in Germany. He was a spiritual man who believed his salvation was in Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Merriam Lois Benton Littlefield; three brothers, Arthur Talmadge Littlefield, Steven Benton Littlefield, and Jesse Robert Littlefield, Jr.
Survivors include one son, Fredrick B. Littlefield, Jr. and wife, Tracy of Midland City;
his father, J R Littlefield of Dothan;five grandchildren, Dalton, Jerrah, and Andrew Littlefield, Brittney and Courtney Townsell all of Midland City; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Rhonda Littlefield of Prattville;
one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Forest Bain of Dothan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to thank Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene, Texas.
