Mr. James Thomas Peters, age 58, of Ozark, died Sunday, February 13, 2011, in Dale Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M. Mr. Peters was born June 1, 1952 in Dale County to the late R. E. and Myrtle Outlaw Peters. He was a farmer and a life-long active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Myra Frazier Peters of Ozark; one daughter; Shasta Peters Smith of Birmingham; one son and daughter-in-law; Lee and Brittany Peters of Ozark; sister and brother-in-law; Rachel and John McKinney of Dothan; two grandchildren; Brynlee Peters and Colton Smith; two nephews; Jeff Peters and his wife, Sandra, and Scott Peters; great niece; Jessica Peters; and great nephew; Jacob Peters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association Memorials, P.O.
