Mr. William Vaughn “Perk” Crooks, age 89, of Ozark, died Sunday, November 24, 2013.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, November 29, 2013, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 12:30 P. M. until service time.
Mr. Crooks was born May 6, 1924 in Ozark to the late Jasper Vaughn Crooks and Daisy Mae Deese Crooks. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and had lived in Ozark Nursing Facility since 1977. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Gay Nell and Jim Dildy; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James and Sara Crooks, and Ted Deese, Sr.
Survivors include one niece, Olivia Crooks of Dallas, TX;
one nephew, Teddy Deese, Jr. of Ozark;
five great nieces and nephews, Tiffany Deese Vest, Misty Deese Cason, William Joseph Guy, Stephanie M. Vest, and Wade Cason.
